The Pokrovsk front has emerged as the primary zone of intense combat activity in eastern Ukraine. Ukrainian General Staff data, current as of 08:00 on October 26, records a total of 177 combat clashes across the entire battlefield in the past 24 hours.

Ukrainian defenders stopped 36 Russian attacks on the Pokrovsk front, the highest number of repelled assaults on any single front. Russian forces attempted to advance near Serhiivka and Molodetske while launching assaults toward ten other settlements, including Nadiia, Novopavlivka, Sofiivka, and Kucheriv Yar. The heavy concentration of strikes indicates sustained pressure on this sector of the line.

The Kostiantynivka and Huliaipole fronts also experienced significant combat, though at lower intensities than Pokrovsk. Ukrainian units repelled 12 Russian attacks near Kostiantynivka, with Russian troops assaulting settlements such as Raiske and Dovha Balka. On the Huliaipole front, defenders pushed back 13 attacks near Uspenske and Rizdvianka.

Activity on other fronts varied widely. The Lyman front saw eight repelled attacks, while the South Slobozhanshchyna front recorded eight more. The North Slobozhanshchyna and Kramatorsk fronts saw lighter engagements, with three and one repelled attacks, respectively. Russian forces conducted no offensive operations on the Kupiansk, Sloviansk, Oleksandrivka, Orikhiv, or Prydniprovske fronts.

The operational situation on the Volyn and Polissia fronts remained stable with no change in the tactical picture. The General Staff reported no evidence of Russian offensive groups forming in these western areas. These figures provide a snapshot of the current distribution of Russian offensive effort and Ukrainian defensive workload.

The data underscores the continued strain on Ukrainian forces in the Donbas region. The disparity in attack counts between the Pokrovsk front and others like the Lyman or Kramatorsk fronts suggests a focused Russian strategy. The stability on western fronts allows Ukrainian command to potentially shift resources to the heavily pressured eastern sectors.
